Yeo Vale is ideally placed for touring the North Devon Coastline with the added attractions of Dartmoor and Exmoor within easy driving distance.

The Picturesque fishing village of Clovelly with its steep cobbled streets leading down to the harbour can be found a short drive away.

If you are a keen Surfer there are ideal surfing sites at Bude, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe Bay, Westward Ho! and Lynmouth a short distance away.

Other places nearby and well worth visiting include RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Tapeley Manor, Hartland Point and Dartington Crystal. Also the town of Appledore with its history of ship building, quaint shops and art galleries.

For those that like walking, local paths will lead to rewarding views of the rolling Devon hills and glimpses of the Atlantic. For the keen walker, we have the North Devon Coastal Path and the Tarka Trail.

For cyclists the Tarka Trail is ideal and cycle hire is available at Bideford, Barnstaple or Great Torrington.

Bideford is only 4 miles away; a medieval market town sitting by the River Torridge, with its own covered Pannier Market.

Boat trips from Bideford go to Lundy Island, which lies 12 miles from the North Devon mainland, Lundy is a haven for puffins and seals.
